ST. KILDA MUNICIPAL BAND
The above baud is duo to'play in tli9 Gardens on Sunday, at 3 p.m., weather permitting. There will also bo the visual Sunday evening concert at St. Kikia rotunda. A good programme will bo presented on both occasions. Special items arc the contest selection ‘ Faust,’ cornet solo ‘ Titania ’ by Sir G. Christie, and a trombone solo (‘ Firefly ’) by four trombones. The band will take up a collection at the gates, which will go towards the now instrument fund. It is considered necessary to procure a new set, as the one now in use is fifteen years old.
