The Hon. J. A. Young (Minister of I Health) was accorded a civic reception at Hamilton ycbterday to mark his elevation to ,tho Ministry. Later the Minister opened the new nurses’ homo at the Waikato Hospital in the presence of a largo gathering. The Minister left for Wellington last night. H. Scholefield, of Alas-1 terton. Born at Riverton, Miss Schole I field was educated at Milton, and re- j sided there for many years. She went j to England in 1903, and lived for some ' time in France.
