CHRISTCHURCH DRAIN AG E HOARD DEBENTURES AVhy not invest in Christchurch Drainage Board Debentures? You can secure them in denominations of £IOO, £SOO, or £I,OOO, on which interest is paid at the rate of 5-J per cent, per annum free of exchange at any branch of the Bank of New Zealand within the dominion. The term of the debentures is for fifty-five years, from October 1, 1923, within the right of redemption by the board of the whole or any portion after tho expiration of fifteen years. The security is of the soundest, liciug covered by a special rate of one farthing in tho £ on the capital value of an area valued at £1G,506,100 and lsd in tho £ on tho capital value of an area valued at £7,167,696, this area comprising practically tho whole of the city of Christchurch and a large portion of tho suburbs. Application money will bo received at tho office of the board, 198 Hereford street, Christchurch, in cash, bank draft, or cheque, and exchange will bo paid by tho board on all accepted application money.
