Dr Van dor Las, in conjunction with ! the Rev. S. Robertson Orr, of St, I Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, WelI lington, is a pioneer in the movement for the exchange oi ministers yietween New Zealand and other countries. Mr Orr has gone to Seattle, and Dr A. Van der Las, who has been for eleven years pastor of St. Bethany’s Presbyterian Church, Seattle, United States, has come to St. Andrews for six months. He has seen Seattle under License, and also under five years of Prohibition. He tells of the transfor- • '<m.> lie has witnessed in the city itself, and of the lives of many citizens. As advertised in this issue, Dr Van der Las w'ill speak in Dunedin, and also at Ravensbourne, Waikouafti, and Milton.
