DOMINICAN CARNIVAL
The promoters of the Dominion Convent Carnival, which is running its gladsome way at His Majesty’s Theatre, must he heartily congratulating themselves on the success that has already attended the show, the building being besieged again last evening with merry throngs of amusement-seekers. Patrons have plenty of opportunities of coming away with armfuls of souvenirs of the show, the various stalls being crowded with a wondrous variety of goods. In connection with the carnival, Mr F. Ileade Wauchop’s revue ‘ Mexicano ’ is produced nightly. This is a wonderfully well-staged piece, the dancing and singing being well up to professional standard. The carnival will remain open until September 12.
