The Nautical Court, wind) held an inquiry into the collision between the ferrv steamer Albatross and the ketch in Auckland Harbor on August 5, found that Captain Lynch, master of tiie Albatross, committed an error of judgment in not porting his helm, which would have averted the collision or minimised the result.
