CONTROLLING OFFERINGS NUMBER OF BALES TO BE SOLD. Tress Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Tress Association. SYDNEY, August 19. (Received August 19, at 10.5 a.m.) The joint conference of the Australian "Wool Growers’ Council and the National Council of Wool-selling Brokers of Australia has agreed that the offerings of wool from September 1 to the Christmas recess should be 1,040,000 bales, spread evenly through the period in accordance with the available soiling days.
