THE MAUDE'S ARCTIC DRIFT SKIP EXPECTED AT NOME Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. VANCOUVER, August 13, (Received August 14, at II a.m.) Radio reports state that Amundsen’s exploring ship, the Maude, is free from the ice, and is going to Nome (Alaska) after being frozen in the. northern ice and drifting helplessly for three years. The vessel is now reported off East Cape (Siberia). Site should reach Nome in a. fortnight's time. It is presumed that there are fifteen men aboard Sydney ‘Sun’ Cable.
