(Received August 12, at 1.30 a.m.) The State Full Court has commenced hearing the appeal of Frederick Bardsloy, Kreglinger and Fenian, Lid., and the IV. Angliss Company 'Proprietary, Ltd., against tho judgment in a case in which they proceeded against the Commonwealth Government in connection with skin and wool. [Judgment was delivered on March 26 in tho case known as the “ skin and wool case,” in which tho Bardsley, the William Angliss Proprietary, Ltd., and Messrs Kreglinger and Fernau claimed £1,000,000 from the Commonwealth Government, the Central Wool Committee, and “ Bawra,” with Sir John Higgins as (he person holding the moneys in trust. The plaintiffs claimed the right to participate in tho profits arising out of the Imperial Government’s wool realisation scheme during Hie last two years of the scheme’s operations so far as wool and skins were concerned. Judgment was given for defendants. Judgment was also delivered for the defendants in a case in which Messrs Wilcox, Moffin, Crompton, and Sons and, .others claimed £2OI),(JUU from the same defendants, with the exception of Sir John Higgins. Plaintiffs claimed the right to participate in the profits arising out of the charge of £d per lb on sheepskins handled by the Central Wool Committee during the term of the Imperial wool purchase scheme.]
