JUVENILE FORESTERS

The usual monthly meeting of Court Star of Dunedin, A.0.F., for girls, was hold on Saturday evening last at the Oddfellows’ Hall, Rattray street, there was a largo attendance of members. Two candidates were admitted. Official visits were received irom the Juvenile Council, Court Woodlands Pride, and Juvenile Courts Pride of the Valley and Hope of Green Island. The visitors were welcomed by the president'(P.C.R. Sister A. Godfrey). Alter the close of the meeting the celebration of the anniversary of the court took place, when the hall was packed with parents and friends of the members. The president presided anjl welcomed the visitors. An excellent programme was rendered by the following youthful members : —Piano solos, Sisters D. Child, M. Millar, and M. Brown; piano duet. Sisters R. and N. Black; song and fancy dance, Sister P. Black; Irish jig, Sister A. Duncan; songs, Sister D. Foote, Miss Betty Foote, and Master Ray Burrow; recitations, Sisters A. Adams, M. Sandora, M. Fleming, and 0. Fleming and Bro. M. H. Gaston. An amusing dialogue was rendered by Sisters M. M'Laughlin and A. Adams. Brothers A. Wheeler and H. Gregory, of Court Pride of the Leith, also contributed several items. Prizes won during the rear were presented by the vice-presi-dent of the Juvenile Council (Sister E. Carr) to Sisters E. Hayward (special prize presented by P.C.R. Sister G. Godfrey), S. Paulin, M. Brown, M. Bandeou, G. Butler, H. Mason, G. Fleming, E. Boyley, M. Fleming, C. Winning, A. Walmsley, S. Mazoy, N. Smart, M. Millar, K. Stewart, I. Loo, N. Russell, 15. Leo, A. Adams, T. Eeusbaw, M. M'Laughlin, S. Clark, T. Mazey, D. Foote, C. Robertson. A. M'Arley, and G. Butler. The district secretary (Bro. J. K. Macfie) presented P.C.R.. * certificates and badges- to P.C.R.s Sisters M. Sandom and D. Findlay. Medals presented by the council were awarded to Sisters A. Adams and D. P. Mason. Tho special prize of a gold wristlet watch (presented by the court president, Sister A. Godfrey) for introducing the largest number of new members was won by Sister A. Adams. Following supper a pleasant evening was brought to a close.
