LUCKY TAXI-DRIVER
FINDS COUNTESS’S JEWELS. GEMS WORTH £20,000. LONDON, July 16. A taxi-driver, finding a jewel case inside his car, took it to the police station, where he was informed that it belonged to > Countess Cowley. The driver is legally entitled to a reward of a substantial percentage of the value of ’ the jewels, which are worth £20,000.
