MEETIKS IK MARCH (Pee United Peess Association.) WELLINGTON, July 24. At the annual meeting of the exccu* tive of tho National itille Association, the president (Mr H. T. Marshall) presided. It was stated that the same assistance as last year would bo given by the Government. It was decided to hold a championship meeting in March next, opening on the 16th. This means that the meeting will follow immediately on the Army meeting, which finishes on March 12. It was decided to keep the entrant* fees at last year’s figure, and £22 was added to the prizes in tho service matches, which will remain as before, The onlv change made in the remainder of the programme is that in the Dominion Match 900yds was substituted for l.OOOvds. ' Ammunition will bo issued free' to all competitors except in practice ma-r&es. Mark 6 or Mark 7 ammunition may bo used, and cither short or long rifle. Mr Marshall was re-elected chairman of the executive, and Colonel Crcsswell vice-chairman.
