COLOGNE, July 22. (Received July 23, at 10.55, a.m.) According to the Foreign Office spokesman, the Dortmund, Duishcrg, Wcsel, Essen, and Munster Chambers of Commerce have appealed by telegraph 1 o the Chancellor (Dr Luther) and other Ministers for State intervention in the mining crisis, which is threatening to paralyse the Ruhr. Wholesale dismissals occur daily. The directors nf the Wiondahlshad mine have announced I heir intention of stopping the pumping machinery and of letting the mine become. Hooded. Further trouble is reported in the Rocinuu region, where the minors were dismissed became they refused to work two shills of twelve hours instead of three eight-hour shifts. —Renter.
