! OTAGO CENTRE -MEETING. Tlie monthly meeting of tho Otago Centre of tho Now Zealand Amateur Athletic Association was held last night, Mr E. L. Macassey presiding. COMMUNICATION FROM COUNCIL. The selectors for the Otago team appointed are: Messrs Beatson, Thompson, and M‘Kernaii. The matter of entertaining the visiting cross-country team for the New Zealand championship was left in the hands of Messrs MTndoe (convener), Breen, Beatson, Thompson, Clark, and Gibson. Mr H. W. Bibby wrote asking for a transfer from the •Anrrlican Harriers to the University Harrier Olub.—
