RUSSIA BUYS FROM CANADA. /OR HUNGRY POPULATION. Frees Association —By Telegraph—Copyright, VANCOUVER., February 12. (Received February 14, at 1.30 a.m.) It is officially stated from Toronto that Canada has booked the largest flour order in the history of (he world s milling with Russia, through the Amtorg Trading Company, New York, which has purchased 1,500,000 barrels. Two Largo Canadian milling companies will receive in cash approximately 12,000,000 dollars. Tho flour will bo loaded in New York, whence it goes in Russian Government ships to Batum, for the benefit of the hungry population. Delivery begins as soon as the ships are available. The deal represents 60,000,000 bushels of Canadian wheat. Reuter.
