SETTLEMENT ANNOUNCED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Press Association. SYDNEY, December 5. (Received December 6, at 1.20 a.m.) The suit of the ‘ Daily Telegraph ’ Company against Broadcasters, Limited, was again before the court, when it was announced that the case would be settled, but it had been arranged that the case would bo again mentioned on Monday next. Tho matter thou was allowed to stand over till that day.
[The ‘Daily Telegraph’ Newspaper Company made an ex parte application to the Equity Court to restrain the Broadcasters’ Company from broadcasting news allegedly contained in the plaintiffs newspaper.]
