CONDOMINIUM CONDEMNED, Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Press Association. SYDNEY, September 17, . (Received September 17, at 10.10 a.m.) At the Presbyterian Assembly the Rev. Mr Paten, a New Hebrides missionary, reiterated his oft-repeated condemnation of the condominium system. He declared that under tho joint control the authorities had no power to enforce their own decisions. Thisj consequently, led to all sorts of abuses., The Assemby resolved to nsk tho Prime Minister (Mr Bruce) to make strong representations to the Imperial Government for complete and impartial enforcement of the condominium. Failing _ that, an arrangement should be made with France by which the islands would pass under British control. Tho Assembly instructed the Board of Missions to bring persistent pressure to bear on the authorities until the present in tolerable state of affairs is remedied.
