DUTCH MEM GETS CONTRACT.

LONDON, September 16. The Shell Transport Company has ao : cepted Dutch tenders lor six oil tankers, involving a contract of £1,200,000. Tho conditions stipulate British steel and no German machinery. The ‘ Daily Express ’ says that, though some British firms tendered without profit, the lowest was £I,OOO in excess of tho Dutch tender. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
