RUGBY
SOUTHLAND v. OTAGO. The annual representative match between Southland and Otago, to bo played at Carisbrook on Saturday, is causing a great deal of interest. When these two teams met recently Southland were returned winners, and Otago is naturally anxious to turn the tables on the Maroons on Saturday. Southland has a good allround side,' and put up a good attractive game against Otago at Invercargill. As a curtain-raiser the annual match between the Southland and Otago referees will be played. This should prove an interesting game, and the public will have an opportunity of seeing many of the old-time players in action once again. The box plan will open at The. Bristol to-morrow, and ground tickets are on sale at the Otago Sports Depot, S. Jacobs’s, and W. F. Elliott’s. Official guides, for sixpence, will also bo on sale.
