RESEARCH COMMITTEE BUSY. Press Association— By Telegraph— Copyright. LONDON, September 1. The Aeronautical Research Committee is carrying out a mid-air investigation of the causes of aeroplane spin with the idea of altering the size and the shape of the rudders. In order to avoid blanketing by the hull the committee is introducing a new energy parachute which has been constructed as the result of long research*, —A. and N.Z. Cabla.
