(Received August 19, at 1.35 a.m.) The Sofia correspondent of ‘ The Times ’ Says: “Strong confirmation of recent reports of Bolshevist conspiracies in the Balkans have been obtained. The seizure ot a cargo of arms and ammunition on tho Black Sea const between Varna and Burgas is reported. A sailing vessel arrived from Sebastopol with a cargo of ammunition, bombs, machine guns, and rifles. The Bolshevists got wind of the approaching raid, and cast) forty cases overboard. The remainder were seized. Thirty arrests followed. Some of those arrested confessed that the cargo was consigned to Bulgarian Communists for distribution. Armed hands are roaming the country. Evidence exists that previous cargoes wore landed without detection. The authorities have discovered a regular organisation for the distribution of these" cargoes.”—* The Times.’
