At the inquest on the victims a? the North Sydney shooting Colin Hinder, Bged fifteen, was committed for trial on a charge of manslaughter. Evidence was given that the accused was always on the heist of terms with the other two boys. (Three boys in North Sydnoy'wcro playing with a 'sendee rifle in a yard. Colin Hmder, who was carrying the rifle, slipped and pulled the trigger in falling. The bullet passed through James Roberts, aged twelve, killing him instantly, and then struck Alfred Decaulzol, wounding him in the head. He died later in hospital]
