In introducing a Bill in the Assembly providing for the naturalisation of the subjects of the late enemy Powers in tiro youth-west Protectorate on the same lines as those proposed by the late Government, the Prime Minister (General Hertzog) said that before giving the territory representation in tho Union Parliament it must have como form of self-government, which, however, must have the full consent of the people. After consulting the people, he hoped next session to introduce a Bill providing for self-government,—A and N.Z. Cable.
