PRISONERS SENTENCED
[Per United Pkess Association.] INVERCARGILL, May 22. In the Supremo Court- Mr Justice Reed sentenced . the following prisoners:— Oliver John Lay, arson, three years' probation ; Daniel C. Watson, incest, four years, with hard labor; Nathaniel C. Bates, common assault on a girl, a year's hard labor; Charks A. Ford, forgery, thnce years' probation; Michael Thomas Neylon, theft, three years' probation; Robert M. Cameron; false pretences, six months' imprisonment. His Honor remarked that in even* case .b'ut one drink was stated to be responsible.
