At Oamarn, Ernest Percy Dell, tobacconist, was to-day fined £IOO for carrying on a common gaining house, and was convicted on a charge of bookmaking. Mr Bundle, S.M.. also lined William Henry Dickson, a fruiterer, £3O on a charge of keeping liquor for sale in a no-license district, and convicted him on a charge of selling. James Robertson, bootmaker, was charged with aiding and assisting in keeping the liquor, and also with obstructing the police, the case arising out of the same raid.
