The ‘ Daily Express ’ says -.hat Mr Beiiby. a, veterinary surgeon at Eailsham, near Eastbourne, says that the dead woman’s correct name is Emily Beiiby Kaye. She was his and her parents died when she was a child. Emily spent a holiday of three weeks in August last with Mr Beiiby and his wife, and she also wrote frequently. Mr Beiiby was surprised to receive a letter three weeks ago saving that she was engaged and intended” to bo married at Cape Tfwn, whore her fiance bad obtained a post. Mr Beilbv wrote immediately aslnng her to visit "him before . her departure, but ha received no reply. —A. and N.|. Cable.

Detectives this evening took Mahon to Eastbourne, where they made a -IcfimU charge. The police say that the victiu -feat twenty-eight years of age. She hue been living at a woman’s club in West London. She was identified by means of o, skirt found at the bungalow. Her club nates say that Miss Kaye was a pretty and swcel-natured girl, and l was wildly luppy over tier prospective marriage. She was never visited by men. Tennis was her chief hobby. A motor driver and other people at Eastbourne are emphatic that there ’as n second dark woman, whose solbnqet was “The Countess.”
Mahon’s mother is living at LiverpoL Mahon had been living with his wi’o and daughter at Richmond. He is *i Irishman, and is a well-known member f (he Mid-Surrey Bowling Chub. He wa playing at the, club on Thursday, and wii in unusually good spirits, and seemed ver happy.-—A. and N.Z. Cable.
