Zaghlul Pasha, in a speech at a oanquet in his honor, winch was attended by 195 deputies, said ne esteemed it fortunate that a British .Ministry had obtained power which was well disposed to uphold the principles of right and justice. Egyptians were prepared ;o confer with this Ministry with a view to obtaining real independence, whde respecting reasonable and acceptable British interests and not clashing therewith. He testified to tho help already given and likely to continue to bo given uy foreign res dents, who should be treated with traditional hospitality.
