A party of domestics sailed by tho Hobson’s Bay for Australia. Included is Miss Spence, a Dublin 8.A., who is accompanied by her sister, a university girl. She said : “Wo are out for adventure. I don’t think that many of us will remain long in domestic service.” Miss M'Clan, another of tho party, who was educated at Girton College, described horsolf as the victim of the Government’s “economy stunt.” She had lost her teaching job through reduction of staff. After doing domestic service in accordance with tho terms of her contract, she will look for a professional position. Most of the girls realise that marriage is their natural career, and they cherish thn hope of meeting tho right man in Australia,
