RAVENSBOURNE BOATING CLUB. The llavcnsbourne Boating Club hold a couple of races on Saturday—one for motor boats and the other for yachts. The weather was fine, but through the absence of wind the yachts were not. able to show their true sailing ability. Results:— Motor Boat Race.—ldler handicap), 39miu 51soc, 1; Marewa (scr), 39miu 57sec, 2; Eclipse (Imin), 40min 13sec, 3. Also started: Manuka (Bmin) and Maureen (6min). All-comers’ Yacht Race (from Raveusbournc, round Three Legs at end of retaining wall, round buoy at Challis's, aud return). —Tucana (scr), 2h 39min 54scc, 1; Kia Ora (26Amin), 21i 51min 47sec (handicap included), 2; Minnow (24min), 2h 54miu 9see, 3. Also started: May (25min), Miti (12min), Valrnai (20min), Experiment (32min), and Seagull (29jinin). Tho races were controlled by Messrs Grant, Wilson, Grubb, and Miller.
