Mr Sparkman's (Woodville Club) bird, with a velocity of 1,033yds per minute, was the winner. The Dunedin Club’s birds wore liberated by the station master. Eight birds, representing eight lofts, were sent, and wore unfortunate enough to strike a head wind.
