Oats.—Tho market is lifeless, and in flu; absence of sales tho following quotations are only nominal: —A Cartons, 2s 9d B Gartens, 2s 6d to 2s 7d; undergrade from 2s per bushel (sacks extra). Fowl Wheat.—A fair quantify is coining forward, and the inquiry is not as keen. Saks are being made at 4s 6d to 4s 7d per bushel (sacks extra). Potatoes. —Values arc unchanged. Best tables aro realising £lO to £lO 10s per ton. Chaff. —All consignments of prime heavy oaten sheaf arc being taken by local feeders. Medium and inferior chaff is very slow of sale. Wc quote : Prime oaf on sheaf, to £5 ss; good to best feed, £4 5s to £4 15s; inferior, £2 to £3 10s per ton (sacks extra). SALES ON ’CHANGE : THIS DAY. Auckland. —Sales ; Inscribed 41, per cent.
