MORNINGTON INTERESTS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Now that the elections are near at hand, it would be to the interests of the residents of Mornington to select and do all in their power to return a member to the City Council who would look after their interests. In Mr 11. A. Le Cien we find such a candidate. Mr Le Cren did great work for Mornington, both as a councillor and as its mayor ; also he is a gentleman of leisure, and could devote a lot of his iimo to the interests and roqnlrements of the borough. As there is no ward system now all Greater Dunedin residents who are, on the municipal roll can vote for twelve candidates as councillors. Therefore it would be to the advantage of Mornington electors to “go strong” for Mr Le Cren.—l am, etc., Donald Hendehson. April 21.
