At a meeting of the Senate of the University of Now Zealand, at Wellington yesterday, the following senior scholarships were awarded English, Thomas Thomson (Otago); Latin, James Ernest Einnear (Otago); Greelig Una Doreen Castle (Victoria- College) ; French, Winifred J. G. Moody (Otago); history, 'James Edgar R. Patterson (Ota,go); economics, John Lning Thomas (Otago) ; philosophy, Richard Paul Absenulz (Auckland) and Clarence Edward Beeby (Canterbury College), equal; mathematics, Miles A. R. Barnett (Otago); physics, Kenneth Charles Roberts (Otago); chemistry, Henry Lorimer Richardson (Victoria College); botany, Elma M. M'Oarlhy (Otago); geology, Percy Thomas® Cox (Canterbury College); law, Leslie Knox Munro (Auckland).
