"NURSE" MITCHELL ACQUITTED

(Received April 21., at 11.50 n.m.) “ Nurse ” Mitchell was acquitted on the charge of murder. Tho judge withdrew the alternative count of manslaughter. In a statement from tho clock Mitchell endorsed much of the evidence given by Crown witnesses to the effect, that tho body was hidden; but denied performing an operation. The judge explained to the jury that tho main issue was: Did the accused operate or not?—A. and K.Z. Cable.
