GLEE SINGERS
The programmes submitted by tho Westminster Glee Singers for the entertainment of Dunedin audiences have been received with warm commendation. Again last night tho singers displayed their artistry in a varied programme, in which solos, duets, and items by tho company were pleasantly varied. Tho programme to ho given to-night is:—Dart sung (‘I. Know a Maiden*), tho gentlemen; nursery rhymes (‘Ding Dong, Dell,’ 'Simple Simon,’ ‘ Hey Diddle Diddle ’), tiie hoys; the Scottish ballad {‘Mary’), Mr Ellis Vizard; vocal march ('_ Norwegian Bridal Song ’), tho Westminster Gloo Singers; old English song (‘Quo Morn the Maiden ’), Albert Cooper; baritone song (‘ Oh, to be a Gipsy ’), Mr Alfred Cunningham; quartet (‘ln This Hour’); two old English airs (‘Come, Lasses and Lads,’ ‘The British Grenadiers’). the Westminster Glee Singers; old Welsh air (‘ Tho Ash Grove’), tho gentlemen; soprano solo (‘The Last Bose of Summer’), Harry Collier; old ballad (‘ The Tinker’s Song ’), Air John Andrews: part song (‘The Dawn of Day’), tne Westminster Glee Singers; male alto solo (‘ Beloved, it is Morn ’), Mr Donald Eeid; duet (‘Gentle Spring ’), Edmund Walter and Albert Cooper; American air (‘Dixie- Land’), the gentlemen; old Irisli air (‘ Tho Cruiskeen Lawn’), the Vestminstcr Glee Singers.
