LINER'S NOVEL ARMAMENT
Shotguns, 50,000 cartridges, and. 40,000 clay pigeon targets arc part of the sports equipment, on the Ounard liner Laconia, which sailed from Liverpool, recently tor New York, and thence for a four and ,a-half months’ world cruise. This unusual armament will bo used by her passengers for clay bird (shooting during tbo cruise. She is tbo first liner to carry such a complete outfit, and the order for targets is tho largest ever received by tho maters, tho Nobel Industries, Ltd._ Special releasing traps have been fitted in tho after portion of one of the Laconia’s docks, where they will not bo seen by passengers, who will fire (seawards at the targets from the deck above.
