' Private cable advice has been received that Dr Roland Fulton, eldest eon of Dr Fulton, of this city, has been successful in passim the examination {or the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. The Christchurch Competitions Society has appointed as judges for its 1923 festival Mr W. Asprey, of Sydney, (music), and Mr H. A. Leicester, M.A., of Devonport, Tasmania (elocution). Mr W. H. Hagger (Conciliation Commissioner) was a passenger lor Cliristclrarcb by this morning’s express. Miss Natalie _M‘Ca;llum, who sang the soprano solos in the ' Messiah' ’ of the Dunedin Choral Society, was a passenger by the north express to-day en rout© fof Auckland. During her stay in Dunedin she .baa been the guest of Mr and Mra P. D. Qarsido.
