DUNEDIN STARR-BOWKETT. Tho directors of the Dunedin StarrBowkett Building Society decided last Bight to declare a third dividend out of tho profits of No. 2 croup, and shareholders in that group will therefore receive a Christmas box of 30s per share. Applications for loans totalling _ £2,500 dn tho various groups were considered a't this meeting. It was arranged to put out an appropriation of £SOO in the No. 3 group and one of £SOO in tho No. 5 group on the 20th inst. The secretary (Mr Hopcraft) reported that the shares subscribed for in tiie No. 5 group totalled 1,229, as against 926 in the No. 4 group when it was of tho same age. No. sis already a very lusty infant. BUTTER MARKET. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cable from their head office, dated London, December 5 :—" Butter : Prices less by 4s to 6s; market continues weak."
