REPORTED (FRENCH THREAT, INFLUENCES AMERICA. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. WASHINGTON, November 29. Following insistent reports that France ia preparing to invade the Ruhr Valley should Germany fail to meet her next reparations payment, the French Embassy has issued a statement denying that such action is contemplated. Shortly before this statement was issued a high Government authority stated that tbo American army of occupation on the Rhine would not bo returned to the United States for the present, because of an important reason in connection with foreign affaire. While the official declined to state the reason, it -was jjidifeated that France’s reported decision had considerably influenced the American action. —A. and N.Z. Cable. ALLIES TO MEET IN LONDON.
