Larce crowds continue to attend) the St. Vincent do Paul Orphanage Carnival in Ills Majesty’s Thoattto Tho carnival season is now drawing to n close, and) it has only a very short time to run. Last night an "excellent programme of dances was submitted by pupils of the Otago School of Dancing, and tho Lyric Quartet entertained with excellently-rendered vocal items. In addition the Tip-Topical Party furnished ah excellent turn. A. complete change of programme is billed for this evenin'* Following in the position of the queens:— Miss Blaney 1, Miss Stewart 2, Mbs M'Donald 3, Misa .Dawson 4, Miss Index 5, Miss Spiers 6.
