LONDON, November 28. Tha exchange rate on 'Paris is 65.65 franca to the £. This is due to heavy selling by speculators, owing to France's altitude towards the, reparations. The Berlin rate is 585,000 marks to the £, and the New “fork rate 452£ cents to the £. There has been considerable buying of sterling on both sides of the Atlantic. The improvement at this period of the year is causing some surprise, and is regarded as indicative that the United States IS favorably impressed by Britain’s financial and economic position.—A. and N.Z. Messrs Murray, Roberts, and Co. have received the following wool market cablegram from their London agents, dated the 28th inst“ Merino : Best descriptions, market shows no change; medium to good, market, par to 5 per cent, advance compared with dosing rules of last London sales. Slipe: Fine cross-bred, market advanced 5 per cent. : medium cross-bred, market advanced 10 per cent.”
