“LABOR’S FOOLISH POLICY.”

VO THF EDITOR

Sir, —Mr dynes certainly stresses production ; but *be also Bays; “Wo need bettor distribution of commodities,” showing that ho thinks that better distribution must go band' in hand with higher production; and on this point I heartily agree with him. If he wishes us to believe that higher production without better distribution is going to benefit anybody, then he must think us very credulous. Mr Ciynes’s main theme is that while we are under tho present system the “go slow” policy will avail us nothing, and is really an appeal to adopt constitutional methods in endeavoring to adjust our grievances, and he is at one with tho New Zealand Labor Parly.—l am, etc..

F.M.H,

November 29,

[Perhaps our correspondent will cite a few instances in which leaders of the New Zealand Labor Party have condemned a “go alow” policy.—Ed. E.S.]
