MISTAKEN IDENTITY.
TO THE EDITOR
Sir, —On reading your report of the P.P.A. meeting held at Ravensbourne Mr Griffith is stated to have said that he had met Mr Gilchrist only once. At last night’s meeting of the P.P.A. the rev. gentleman, in telling the joke against himself concerning tho Gilchrist affair, stated that ho had met a gentleman, supposedly Mr Gilchrist, on several occasions. Will Mr Griffith please state what ho really does mean bv “once” and then “several times”? Otherwise sensible people will be wondering if he is to be believed in tho rest of his talk about tho P.P.A. and its principles.—l am, etc.,
Protestant Mother.
