CHARGES OF DRUNKENNESS. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright WASHINGTON, November 27. A sensation has been caused by the revelation of unprecedented drunkenness among students attending the Naval Academy daring the annual football game at Philadelphia with the students of the Military Academy. Tho entire students’ body of the Naval Academy were permitted a day’s leave following the game, and the civilians had to help many students to their hotel. Much drinking occurred also during tho game, students fallincr from their seals. The game, which is a great social event, was attended by Cabinet officers, including Mr E. Denby’ (Secretary of the Navy), who made « statement that he was shocked beyond measure that such things should have occurred. “Tho misconduct on that occasion,” he said, “was the most flagrant, as tar a-s I know, that hag ever been charged against the academy. An investigatiop will immediately be ordered,” —A. and N.Z. Cable.
