REPRESENTATIVE RUGBY

OTAGO v. AUCKLAND. . Tho representative match between Otago and Auckland will be played at Carisbrook to-morrow, and if tho weather keeps up tho ground will bo in excellent condition. That being so, spectacular play may bo predicted with confidence. Tho visitors have a good all-round team, with fast, clever backs. As a curtainraiser the junior primary match between the Marist Broth ere (Invercargill) and tho Christian Brothers (Dunedin) will bo played. Tho 3rd Artillery Band will be in attendance. Taxi-cars will park in Ferguson, Gillies, and the north side of M'Glashan streets; and private cars in Law street and Neville street and Burns street. Scats in front of the stand and for the old stand will be sold at the ground, but there are no more seats available in the grand stand. Ground tickets can be obtained at Jacobs’s and at the Sports Depot. The Aucklanders had an hour and a-half’s training at Carisbrook this forenoon. THE PLAYERS. Two chaises have been necessitated in the Otago team. Murray, having injured his foot in a ’Varsity match on Wednesday, will bo replaced by Mackereth as centre three-quarter; and Munro, having lost his father at Invercargill, Milne goes into the team as a forward. The teams are: AUCKLAND. Full-back, Muir. Three-quarters—Thomas, Ifwerson (captain), Hirst. Five-eighths—M'Manus and Grant. Half-back, Earle. Forwards—P. King, Boyd, and Jacobs have notified the selectors their inability to tour the Goldfields with tho Otago B team. Their places will bo taken by'Connolly (Zingari), F.
