PRINTERS’ DISPUTE.
LONDON, August 17. (Received August 18, at 1" p.m.)
Tho printers’ dispute, which has for so long disorganised tho provincial newspaper world, has been settled ns a result of a conference. The Typographical Association agreed to recommend the strikers to resume work immediately, with a-reduction of 3s a week; also that there bo-a ballot on tho acceptances of a gradual total reduction of 12s 6d.—Reuter.
