END OF THE PSYCHE

(Received August 18, at 8.55 a.m.) The warship Psyche has been sold out of the service. She will bo broken up. [The Psyche is one of the 1895-98 light cruiser class of British warship. She is of 2,135 tons, and is slightly smaller than the Philomel, the training ship now stationed at Auckland. The Psyche was a unit of the Pacific squadron before the war. She is armed with B.4in gnns, and her indicated horse power is 7,000.]
