REMUERA’S PASSENGERS
LEAVE ENGLAND BY PAPAROA. Advice received by the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the steamer Paparoa, left Southampton on August 11 for New Zealand via Panama. She has on board 54 first class and 257 third class passengers who wero on board the Remuera when that vessel was damaged through a collision with another steamer recently hi tho English Channel. The Eemuera was compelled to put back to London to undergo repairs, and accommodation was found for her passengers until tho Paparoa sailed. The Paparoa is due at Wellington on September 23. The passengers will disembark there, and the vessel will later visit Auckland and then Port Chalmers to discharge part cargo, which includes that transhipped from the Remuera,
