‘ Why Girls Leave Homo,’ a drama from the First National studios, heads the current programme at the Queen’s. An all-star cast does justice to the various roles.
Mary Miles Miuter in ‘ The Ghost of Rosy Taylor ’ and Will Rogers in ‘ Water, Water Everywhere ’ are the chief attractions at the Plaza at present. ‘ Through the Back Door,’ a fine society drama with Mary Pickford in the chief role, is the headliner at Everybody’s. There is an excellent list of supports. The bill at the Empire is a very pleasing one. Matt Moore and Seena Owen star in ‘ Back Pay,’ and Constance Biuney is seen in ‘ Something Different.’ ‘ Smouldering _ Embers,’ a drama of exceptional merit, is the chief attraction at the King Edward. The supports include a comedy, a topical budget, and a short drama. ‘ The Man Under Cover,’ starring Herbert Rawlinson and Barbara Bedford, and ‘Partners of the Tide,’ a drama of the sea. are the features of the Octagon programme.
