ST. ANDREW’S TENNIS CLUB
The Rev. _H. Maclean presided at the annual meeting of the St. Andrew’s Tennis Club. The following office-bearers were elected : Patron, the Rev. Dr Waddell; president. Rev. H. Maclean; vice-presidents— Dr Barnett, Messrs D. and J. Wilkie, J. G. Patterson, G. F. Inglis, J, H. Walker, and T. Cooper; secretary and treasurer, Mr H. Walker; committee— Misses T.s Bnm, Elvidje, Phair, Ndccdl, ajd Cable, Messrs S. P. Cameron., M. Barnett, N. Fraser, D. Cameron, and G. Carter; delegates to the Lawn Tennis Association, Messrs Carter and Cooper. A resolution was adopted requiring that >ew members must belong to some organisation of St. Andrew’s Church. The opening day was fixed for September 16, , It was decided to set aside one night in the week for men’s play.
